2024 has been an incredible year full of surprises, new friends, new charity partnerships, and lots of new memories made. We truly couldn’t have done it without our amazing volunteers and our incredibly generous sponsors. We are grateful for the time, the dedication, the passion, and the resources you have so kindly shared with us to. You’ve helped us grow, helped our local communities with donations & build awareness, and you helped us create an immersive & memorable experience for other Star Wars fans like ourselves. Before we close our chapter of 2024, we will recap with the last several events then tell you what’s planned and in store for 2025!
Kicking it off with the debut of Sabacc For Charity National Tournament! We've wanted to create such an event to be able to extend our reach and better fulfill the goals of raising funds and awareness for charities throughout the country. This is it! It's coming February 1st and we have yet to reveal some of the amazing prizes we have for the winners. Follow our social media for news and updates! We had another successful Ocala Comic Con! It was a full circle moment as a year ago that was our first convention with the Rusty Rancor. Can you believe it?? We were able to raise $420 for the Boys & Girls Club of Citrus County for their local efforts. We had a large space in roughly the same area we were in last time and couldn’t have complained about the impressive turnout. We had a lot of Star Wars cosplayers and others from all sorts of fandoms wander through our cantina. We love those in cosplay joining us to play! Bryan, with the Rusty Rancor, was even able to have a space within our cantina to teach the brand new Kessel Sabacc game found in the Star Wars Outlaws video game. We had families and convention attendees enjoy the new variation. It was a wonderful convention to attend and we are still grateful for the new partnerships we have developed with some of the vendors in attendance. We had players sign up for the tournament just so they could win the beautiful prizes we had on display! And we don’t blame them! The tournament prizes were incredible and we are honored our sponsors and attending vendors would be so kind to donate to our charity tournament for the Boys & Girls Club!
Shortly after Ocala Comic Con, we were invited to the first-of-its-kind, Halcy-Con! What an incredibly unique convention that was. We had a whole room, our biggest setup yet, to be able to decorate and design to feel like you got off the ship and onto the planet of Batuu, in the Alluvion Ravine! We partnered with the local Skyline Cantina (where they exclusively play the Coruscant Shift variant of Sabacc) and Hyperspace Props to help us host our charity tournament for Magic Wheelchair. For those unaware of this non-profit, they do magical work by creating wheelchair centric cosplays for children so they too can dress up and feel like their favorite characters. We raised an amazing $1,245 for such an awesome cause! We were blown away by everyone’s kind donations! We hope there will be another Halcy-Con in the future and we hope to see you there!
Orlando Voyager Magazine article has been published about our Sabacc for Charity efforts and impacts this past year. We are blessed to have been able to express our passion and purpose with them and we are looking forward to sharing it with everyone!

For 2025, we will be back at MegaCon Orlando, come February!! We are so excited to return to such a fun-packed convention AND we will be partnering with the Victim Services Center again! We will have our interactive cantina setup, some interesting prizes in store, and another Ahsoka Tano meetup being planned as we speak. Will we see you there? You could walk away with an impressive S4C trophy to strut the con with 1st place prizes or earn some 2nd and 3rd place prizes too!

We will have new charities & non-profits to promote and new locations to explore! We have also created a NEW Facebook Page exclusively for S4C content. We know what you’re probably thinking, “Don't you guys already have a FB group page?” Yes, we definitely do; however, using FB pages allows us to reach a wider audience and have a better sense of our demographics. Ultimately, our goal is to continue growing! And along with growth we'll need better tools to manage our events. On top of a new FB Page, make sure to follow us on Reddit as well!
